Doubly protected by twin layers of polymer sheathing, moulded over a rigid fibreglass core, this shovel is solid forged and fully insulated. It has a specially contoured collar that prevents the user's hand slipping onto the steel blade. The outer sheathing of orange insulation has been developed for its high voltage and abrasion resistance properties. If this protection abrades in ue and the white inner sleeve becomes visible, the tool should be removed from use around live-working conditions;
